An Overview

  • Mindful & Intuitive Eating

Mindful and intuitive eating is eating with the intention (purpose) of caring for yourself and eating with the attention (awareness) necessary for noticing and enjoying your food and its effects on your body. It’s paying attention to how certain foods, amounts of foods and the timing of meals and snacks affect how you feel both mentally and physically.

It is an inner journey of discovery because you are the expert of your body. Only you know how hungry and full you are, what foods you love and will satisfy you and how you want to feel.

Mindful and intuitive eating encompass curiosity, awareness, and self-compassion which leads to self-care.
